25. General principles of military appeals

Article 144-Exhaustion and Limitation of appeal
144.1 Exhaustion and Limitation of appeal
All Appeals shall be limited in time to approximately sixty (60) days after sentence.
A valid appeal may not be lodged unless it is within this time.
144.2 Exhaustion of appeal
Upon a judgment by the Court of Appeal, a convicted person may have no other avenue of appeal, excluding a Charteral appeal, on the grounds that the proceedings denied the natural justice or procedures of the Charter and codes.
Such appeals shall be limited in argument and purely based on the proper interpretation of Charteral law. Such appeals shall not be available unless the basis of the complain introduces a new element no previously presented in matters before the Supreme Court of Oceanic Union.
