Offences of non-support |
|
| |
Offences of non-support is the non financial and moral support by a parent towards the financial and moral well-being of their children, whether or not they hold present custody. |

Primary Fact(s) |
| 1. That the accused is a genetic parent of a child under the age of 16 years; and |
| 2. That a legal order of support had previously been issued requiring the parent to provide both financial and/or moral support to their child; and |
| 3. That the accused by way of action or inaction had contributed to the deprivation of financial and/or moral support of their child, in direct defiance of the order. |
